The newest release from Ever An' Angel evokes the image of hot summer days and cool tropical breezes, and the sound of gentle surf.  Created out of the softest natural cotton, the palazzo pants flow freely down long legs from the daring lace waistband.  The fine fabric clings to just the right places before the legs flare out to pool at your feet, marking each graceful stride with the satisfying swish and flow of the cool cotton.  The top is deceptively simple, tying below the bust, to create a deep veed neckline, and long snug sleeves to balance the bareness of midriff.  All this, done up in sizzling colors!  I am wearing "raspberry", sweet and satisfying as summer sorbet.

Enjoying the View!

Sometimes you just have to stop and take in the sights! 

I was wearing the newest outfit from Ever An' Angel, (Flirt, in blue!)  when a friend of mine said, let's take a walk and enjoy the view!  So we went out and wandered around the countryside near my cabin and he was snapping photos. He directed me to go here, or there, and it was a very nice time.  I felt like his model!

So first I perched on the railing and he said, "Very nice, but not quite the view I wanted." So I stood.

I struck what I thought was a very sophisticated modeling pose, and he smiled and indulged me and took the shot, but again said, "Not quite the view I'm after, but I think we'll get it.  Have you SEEN that sunset?" So, I turned around and looked, and heard the snap of the shutter.

"That's it!"  That's the view I was after!"  He was so happy.  He's learning photography with me, you know.  I have to admit, it was a lovely sunset.

Old Hollywood Glamour from Ever An' Angel!

I'm ready for my close up !

Once again, Ever An' Angel brings you a gown that simultaneously evokes old Hollywood Glamour while being completely new and modern; an enigmatic blend of sultry and elegant.  The dress starts with weighted silk, cool, sophisticated, it glides down your curves in a cling that ends at an embroidered hem.  The skirt is further enhanced by an over skirt of sheerest organza, again, embroidered in that feminine floral pattern.  The simple silhouette is topped by Viennese Lace, richly echoes the  floral patterns of the hem.  Then you slowly draw the long glove up your arms, to complete the look.

Casuals you'll want to wear ALL the time!

 Ever An' Angel releases TWO exciting new outfits! 

So beautifully put together, so perfectly designed you may never want to wear anything else!  (until there's a new gown, at least)

First up is the fabulous, "Tied and True".  This is such an "on trend" look.  The top a graceful, Irish wool, knit cape-let.  It begins with a cowl collar, detailed with two perfect buttons, and calls down in a curve flattering arc to just your waist.  Each move reveals just a tiny peek of skin.  The trouser, divinely tailored, emphasizes your waist, with a high, wide, waistband, wrapped in a sash.  The colors are subtle, understated, and elegant.  I'm wearing the classic black, but as all Ever's things, it comes in 9 colors, which makes it superbly mix and matchable!  I'll pop a couple other color choices at the end of the blog. 

For this look I went with the TONE Expressions, Bold palette.  I started with Bold Expressions lips, in Rosewood,  and for the eyes, I chose Bold Expressions eyes, Wheat. For the nails, I used the Tone Rich Colours mani & pedi hud in Mocha.  I added Ada earrings, from Semi - Precious, so simple, and so perfect.  The hair is !Ohmai, the shoes Baby Monkey, the lashes are Redgrave, natural, mesh body by Maitreya, SLink hands and feet, and the skin, custom made from Dulce Secrets. 

The NEWEST creation for Ever An' Angel is sheer delight!  It's called "Saturday Morning" and is everything you need to get you through a weekend, at home or away!  The adorable top is a lovely, soft, natural, organic hemp, with a retro print, that lies so easy against your skin.  The neckline a casual henley style, to leave adorably undone, and fill in with a favorite necklace. The 3/4 sleeves leave your hands free for all those fun Saturday activities: eating popcorn at a movie, holding hands, shopping for bracelets, delving into antiques at a salvage store, what ever your weekend throws your way!  I'm wearing it here, in "Sage" and can't wait to do up the pink one!  9 color choices!  

But here's the genius part!  The jeans come with a hud, that allows you to change to five different denim looks.  From coal black, to denim blue, "faded up to the sky".  The fit is amazing and your partner, or smiling admirers, will appreciate the view as you walk away!  *wink* AND, it's all Maitreya body friendly!

Music to our eyes!

Classical or Jazz Ever An' Angel has it all!

Music serves as inspiration for fashion, and always has, and Ever An' Angel presents two diverse compositions to delight your senses...all of them!

The classical side...

First there's "Opus".  A magnum Opus it is.  You'll be swept away by the lush orchestration of the heavy silk, as it slides off shoulders, curves about your bodice in a sweetheart neckline, and gathers at the waist, accented by a opulent beaded belt.  The skirt, is a sweeping movement all it's own, flowing and swaying with every step, the luxury of silk trailing behind you like the lingering notes of an exquisite Chopin nocturne.  And the final surprise of the glissando of flocked velvet overlay that draws the eye from bodice, past a tiny waist and over the flow of the skirt.  Each detail layered carefully to bring you a symphonic poem of a gown.  The room will fall to silence as you enter, for all will want to drink in the beauty of your song, your Opus.

And all that JAZZ...

And if the play of notes, the unexpected, the improvisation of jazz is more your style, Ever An' Angel presents "Social Scenery".  Modern, classic, and yet unexpected.  There's the improvisation of color and line over the brocade of the vest.  The print reminiscent of the glorious era of Art Deco.  The trousers play out the melody line, sure and confident, just like you!  The trousers are cut to move with every step, a flirt of silk, classy and elegant.  This is a look that can take you from office to evening in classic style!  Kass added the delightful accent of the necklace "Mariko" by Semi-Precious. The neckline of the vest will lovingly frame any necklace, but I think Kass made the perfect choice.

Our dear friend, Quix, of Semi-Precious Jewelry has created a set just for the Opus gown.  The baroque filigree of precious metal capturing a scattering of exotic pearls, imported from far away places.  Each set created specifically for one of the rich colors of the gown (shown here in copper).  But I can imagine so many of my things that this gorgeous set will compliment.

C'est si bon!

Two of the newest releases from Ever An' Angel - fresh and fabulous!

First, from the Sneak Peek show for Penumbra , Ever has fashioned this very Fench Garden inspired sun dress; reminiscent of sidewalk cafes, and lingering over café au lait with ....well....that's up to you, but who ever it is will not even notice the people on the street as you sit cool and relaxed in this chic, figure hugging creation.  Seen here in Peony, the floral print is twice banded by a complimentary solid color to accent that slim waist and draw the eye to the feminine sway of your walk.  As you pass, they will notice the crossed spaghetti straps and the row of tiny buttons down your back.  Each detail charmingly pulled together to show you at your best, this summer.  Available in an array of garden fresh prints and colors.

 

And secondly, with so many new things in Ever An Angel 's store, I just had to include another.  This is the exquisitely feminine "Tiers & Lace" frock.  Imagine the cool feel of silk against your skin, loose, sensual, the rustle of the fabric as you walk, and top that with the most intricate of lace, and you have the idea of this gorgeous dress.  The gypsy hem frees up your legs for dancing in the fountains of European capitals or at your friend's wedding.  The lace over-dress has a row of fabric covered buttons down the back, and the flared skirt flows and swirls with each step.  This dress would be perfect for an informal bride.  Seen here, in Pistachio, but as always, there are 8 other lovely colors with a "hot" surprise exclusive color come June 1.

Bewitching!

Will you dance in the sunlight or slide through cool shadows?

 

 

On the light side of things we have Jenna.  This brunette beauty steps out in Ever An' Angel's Vernal Equinox gown, in Burnished; Another gown premiered at the recent Penumbra fashion event.  Crystal pleated layers of silk cascade down from a halter neckline, the color sliding from pale to dark reminding one of burnished copper bracelets in old world bazaars.  She keeps it simple and sweet as the spring day for which the gown was named. The halter bodice is accented by a silver brooch,  from which bursts rays of lace that accent a girlish waistline, both feminine and bold! 

 



And on the shadowed side, is Rhaenys, going to the place of the standing stones in the same gown in the color, Clover.  The color melts down her body, starting out green,  and pools at her feet in a luscious shade of purple.  She will dance, perhaps, to darker songs.   How will you celebrate Vernal Equinox, by Ever An' Angel?

A Study In Contrasts

The season changes from soft spring to sultry summer, and so does this lovely little dress.  In early Spring Ever An' Angel offered this Layered Slip dress in the softest of pastels.  (See below)  But spring gives way to summer, and just as each exotic flower unfurls into vivid color, so did the Layered Slip Dress.  I'm wearing it here in juicy Tangerine, just getting ready to meet someone special for a stroll in the garden, lit by summer's long twilight.

And here is the lovely Layered Silk Slip Dress in Robin's Egg.  Paired with shoes and stockings, created for you by our dearest, Ever An' Angel.  A study in contrasts, both confident, both feminine and easy, but one soft as a whisper, and the other bold as summer itself.  Why not get both?

Elegance and Intrigue

When the heavy satin and silk settles round my hips, and the bodice is snugged in well, I take a breath, and head for the salon.  What intrigue will there be tonight?  A knowing look from a dashing courtier?  A vellum note slipped into an eager hand?  Perhaps I'll lose all in a simple game of cards.  Versailles, one of the newest gowns from Ever An' Angel, evokes the times of palaces, when wit was often a sharper weapon than the sword, but is equally at home in today's ballrooms or other formal venues. What secrets will be whispered in your ear, and will you keep them?  Bring your retinue with you, and see this incredible gown at Ever An' Angel Maybe I'll tell you some of my secrets.

Cinematic Princess

 Heya Angels,
 
      So it's been awhile.  My apologies the sheep hunt was postponed due to playing dress up.  This week I raided Ever An' Angel's newest dress Noir.  Of course, I chose the Ever An' Angel Noir Scoundrel, because the way I looked at it every princess needs a bit of a rogue chasing her... Plus it's pink.  Available in nine colors, there's so many options with these dresses.  I've been sitting here thinking I shall get married in the Won't Forget, play Cinderella in the Blue Dahlia, and maybe throw a bit of 007 in there with the Maltese Falcon.  Leave it to my imagination to take them over into other cinematic roles than the cynical they were meant, yet possibilities are endless.  I look at it this way, there's no better way to relax on SL after a long day of being spoiled than kicking off your shoes, slipping into some gorgeous satin Ever An' Angel piece, and letting the hair down.  Every girl should feel like a Princess and Ever is helping us play the part.
